RCS OTP is a one-time password delivered through RCS Business Messaging, arriving inside the default Google Messages app on RCS-capable Android devices under the business's Google-verified sender badge- name and logo included. It needs no app install beyond Google Messages itself and no prior opt-in, delivers over data or wifi, and falls back to SMS automatically on unsupported devices.
